Filipinos are born music lovers. Music is the life of most Filipinos and with it they build the foundations of their future. Filipino singers - individuals or by group, are recognized worldwide for their talents in music. These are proven with the likes of Lea Salonga, Charice Pempengco, Arnel Pineda (lead vocalist of The Journey), Allan Pineda (apl.de.ap of Black Eyed Peas), Nicole Scherzinger (lead singer of Pussycat Dolls) and a lot more.
One of my favorite type of music/sound is by a choral group. I love songs done by a choral especially when they are doing it in perfect harmony. On August 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 200, you can experience a one of a kind choral music event at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Comment #2 Frankie Toledo at 08/25/09 14:54Congratulations to all of us! 'twas one great fight. The competition was really really stiff! UV and Imusicapella did a great job! Congratz! But nobody can't deny, everyone was shocked when OCTAVA sung their entries for the mixed and folk category! It's about time we rebuilt back our group's stature.. It has been 30 years since the old NAMCYA days.. It was a dream come true. Thanks for making the experience wonderful, guys!
Long Live the MSU-IIT Octava Choral Society! c".b
