By Interviewer at 06/07/08 00:57

Philippines, Philippines Real Estate: Visit our site to view our property listings. Name of your website?

Philippinescondominium.com

Your name?

JL Timbreza

Your Location (city, etc)

Makati City

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Philippinescondominium.com have real estate properties from all over the Philippines ranging from condominium, house and lot, villatel, condotel, and farm resort.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

So people can have a one-stop-shop real estate listings that offers more content and more information and materials to help them choose best on which property to invest on.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

It was in 2004 - it's www.visualspate.com - my online portfolio site. I am a designer and this site showcases my works ranging from print, to websites, to flash and videos.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I got help from an SEO friend. We researched which market we are targeting and studied the keywords to use and which will be beneficial to the site SEO wise and page ranking wise.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

My website contains more information, photos and videos than other real estate listings. This aims to give the viewers enough materials to help them make the best decision in purchasing a property.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To keep it for income. I have a partner agent doing the hardsell of the properties. I intend to help our agents make a sell thru my website.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I think it's worth the effort. It may be hard at the moment, but once my site started to rank, i think it'll be a smooth path to an even greater success.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I'd make it more dynamic and more interactive. I'll add blogs and CMS features to make updating the site easier and more efficient. I'd advertise it more to help it rank faster.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I'll try the best i can and if need be, seek some help.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None so far

What has been your biggest challenge?

As of yet, it is to rank my site and to promote it to reach as many targeted audience as possible.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

By linking and advertising thru other website.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

it needs more time and attention than what i initially expected in order for it to be properly promoted. I also initially thought that once it's set up- it can run on its own, but i learned that it needs constant attention and upgrading.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

It has been running for a year and a half now. I think i still have much to endure but eventually, i believe, i can achieve my goal with patience and constant effort to improve it.

Replace this with a question of your own

Any advice you can give to help me rank my site and generate income?

What is your website address?
