What inspired you to launch your own website?

We live in the United States and have family in the Philippines so we know how difficult it can be to send gifts for holidays. With eSendFood, it is easy to celebrate special occasions or send gifts to family that they will enjoy.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

We launched eSendFood in 2007.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

e Send Food - Sending food via the internet, it is catchy and easy to remember. It also tells exactly what we do.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

What makes us different is, we have meals from many restaurants all over Metro Manila. We offer large, pot luck dishes as well as meals that can be sent for any occasion at affordable costs. It can be a small amount or large amount.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

We plan to keep eSendFood and expand to other regions and provinces all throughout the Philippines.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting the word out about our website. It is hard to find where to advertise so that everyone can find us. Also, since we are a new company we want people to know they can trust us to do our best to make their experience with eSendFood successful.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

It is hard to say what has been the best way to promote yet. We have posted to all search engines where some people have found us. Then we have some repeat customers and some who have heard from other people. We are still planning additional advertising to increase sales.
