I started my website last January of 2007 to let other people know more about our province Kalinga on the internet. The people, cultures, traditions and tourist destinations.

kalingatambayan.com provides a lot of information about Kalinga Province. It also promotes different adventures such as mountaineering and white water rafting. You can learn about their cultures and traditions and the latest news and development in Kalinga.It also consist of the traditional laws still being practice today in upper Kalinga.
What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
I think promoting my website is the difficult part of running my website despite the fact that i don't have any money to promote it so i am depending on free seo tools and free submission and listing to the internet.
What has been the easist part of operating your website?
Simply monitoring visitors and my statistics.
What was your biggest mistake?
Before, i design my website which is not compatible to some browsers so it mess up with the original design.

I am the one maintaining my website cause i don't have any companion here to do the work..

This is not an income generating website, the main purpose is to let people know about us.We want to clear all bad impression regarding our province.

yes, it helps a lot..it provides us with some hits.

For me who is just starting to operate a website, the most successful method is through e-mail campaign, URL submission on directories, Providing link with popular site such as Friendster,multiply, and linking with popular blogs.. I also participated in popular forums providing my link..

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?
Get rid of spy wares and add wares so with harmful scripts and viruses..
