Yesterday was like a dream come true. After waking up at around 3 in the afternoon, my friends called and told me they would pick me up at around 4pm because there is an emergency'. So I was like rushing to get dressed and prepare because I have less than an hour. When they arrived, they revealed that we are going on a trip to Fantasy World. Aren't they silly?
So there we go, to the much awaited Fatnasy World in Lemery, Batangas. It is a two hour ride from Manila and if you are in Tagaytay, you are only 30 minutes away from the theme park.
Fantasy was first introduced in 1998, with its aim to build the Philippines grandest theme park, that can be compared to Disneyland as they said. Although some part of it are already finish, the construction is too slow that it is still not open for public. Luckily a contractor to the park is my friend's uncle.
Even though the park is still not yet finish, you can still see how beautiful it will be in the future. There is already a big castle, playgrounds, few rides, a big shoe house and a lot more. The park, as of now, only accepts private gatherings such as large wedding mass and related occasions.
Since I am already there, I took the chance to interview one of the main man of the site, the administrator. He told me the initial membership of the park when construction started in 1998 was only Php15,000 for a lifetime membership. But now, the lifetime membership reached 150,000 to 300,00. It is due to the increase of sales of the lots beside the park, where subdivisions started to proliferate and the demand for quality entertainment is already high.
It was a fun night all in all. And we wish to come back in the future.
