As promised, we would tackle each of the Philippines' nominated entries to the ongoing New Seven Wonders of Nature online voting competition. And we would like to start the series with the entry that has held the no.1 spot for weeks now, the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park.

The last time I was in Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park or commonly called Puerto Princesa Underground River by the locals was in 2000, when I became part of the sports delegation that represents my province to the then known Southern Tagalog Regional Athletics Assoc. meet, or STRAA. I believe it has changed its name now.
