The Metro - Makati

By ProTraveler at 02/08/08 07:20

If you are one type of a person who loves bustling cities, towering buildings, corporate life and others, then you can choose from the Philippines Metropolitan Cities.

One of them would be Makati City. As part of Metro Manila, this city owns the title as the richest city in the country. Makati's skyline is definitely one of the best Asia as well. It was given the title before as the one of Asia's City with Highest Potential for growth and power.

The top companies of the country are also here. Local and foreign investors most likely live around the city. The most prominent and powerful families also own properties here both for business and for living.

Looking fir hotel accommodations? Definitely the type of service you will experience in hotels in Makati are simply world class. Whenever I checked in one of their hotels, I always feel like I'm a king. There are five star hotels and there are also hotels that ordinary people can afford. Casinos, dining places, business establishments, malls/shopping centers, attractions and others. These are just few of the things you can acquire if you are in Makati.

I will share with you next time another Metro central attraction, Ortigas.

Makati City is not the richest city in the country. Quezon City is. Makati City is the richest per capita. :)

actually, at the time when this article was written, 02/08/08 , Makati is the country's richest city, both in per capita and overall.

Although Quezon City regained its title 3 months after.

Ironically, based on visual criteria, Quezon City doesn't even show it is the country's richest city. It still has a lot of slums and nomads. I wonder where did all those money go.
