So after buying all the things that my sister instructed me to buy, I brought it all in her office in Fort Bonifacio in Bonifacio Global City district of Taguig City in Metro Manila. Global City is really not a city, its just the name of the business district.
As I was in the Global City, I noticed how beautiful the panorama of Makati was. I mean, Makati is really beautiful, considering that it is the financial center of the Philippines. But there's something special that made Makati THAT beautiful. When I look at it, it appears almost like New York or Chicago to me. Maybe its the towering building while still able to maintain its green surrounding.
Makati is the central business district of the country. It is the place were most of the well-to-do lived. Many of the biggest companies also housed their b business there. One of the two Philippine Stock Exchange trading floor is in Makati, with the main office situated in Pasig City, another one of the business districts of the Philippines.
Living in Makati is like living other high end cities in the world. Most of the people living here are the owners, CEOs or presidents of different companies. The city life in Makati is as vibrant as those in Macau or even in Las Vegas, less the big casinos and overkill-lighting.
There are big pubs, bars and restaurants where gastronomic adventures is possible. The city skyline at night is spectacular as well. Some of the best hotels and malls are also in Makati. The ever famous Manila Peninsula hotel or simply called Manila Pen is also in Makati.
Makati is just one of the many business districts of the Philippines. The other famous are in Pasay City, Ortigas in Pasig City, Global City of Taguig, Metro Cebu in Cebu City and many parts of Metro Manila.
