A Night At The Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel

, hotels: The Waterfront Pavilion Hotel and Casino Manila

I had a very memorable experience yesterday. I was annoyed at first but when I come to think of all that happened, it was not at all bad.

I went to Manila to do some important things. I met some friends at SM City Manila, a mall behind the city hall of the city of Manila. After that, I went to the Prince Hotel behind Adamson University to attend a family friend's wedding. The place is just around Manila's prime destinations like Luneta Park, the Presidential palace officially known as Malacaņan, the Manila Cathedral, Manila Zoo, Manila Planetarium, Rajah Sulayman Park, Manila Bay and a lot of others. Not included in the list that I wrote is the National Library, the place where you can usually find me whenever I am in Manila. The library is located in the long Kalaw Avenue. I usually spend my time there reading some of the millions of books in their building.

While there, I felt dizzy from the lack of sleep and decided to go home. Unfortunately, I cannot. The road is impassable due to the crowd by a youth mob rallying in front of the library. I was literally stranded in the vicinity. Since I really feel exhausted and sleepy, I decided to just check in the nearby hotel, the Manila Pavilion or now called the Waterfront Pavilion Hotel and Casino. It is located in between United Nations Avenue and Kalaw Avenue.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I felt a different ambiance. It was really beautiful. They have big chandeliers and the color of the interiors are really stunning and relaxing. I was charged USD$120.00 for a night long stay, a bit expensive but I took it since I really needed rest. The rally ended around 8:30pm but i decided not to go home and used the night stay I already paid.

I was assigned with the room on the 8th floor and I was happy at the sight of it. It was clean and spacious. It got a flat TV too! I decided to pay $10 for an hour of therapeutic spa in their massage and spa center. After that I went to their pool and gave myself a nice swimming exercise. As you would have noticed, I already forgot I am there to sleep, lol. They also have restaurants that offer sumptuous foods and a lot of choices are there for you to indulge. After a few minutes of rest in the room's balcony, I comfortably gave myself a sound sleep.

Sorry that I did not gave the casino a try. I really am not the person to spend money for some enjoyable gamble, lol. But I visited it at least and really saw high tech games and the other traditional casino games. The people really look they were having fun.

I woke up and went home early in the morning and I am looking forward to visit the hotel next time when I have more spare time. It was a great experience to sum it all. And I really enjoyed it.
