Tomorrow will yet be another one of those days where you hardly people in the streets. It will be another one of the days that people gather inside their homes or their offices. All this will be once again possible because of the war that is yet to happen tomorrow. It is the fight between two champions, Manny "Pac-Man The Destroyer" Pacquiao vs. David "The Dangerous" Diaz.
For many Filipinos, every ring fight between Manny Pacquiao and a foreign opponent is a must see. The Filipino boxer will be battling with the WBC Lightweight champion, David Diaz in a fight dubbed as Lethal Combination.
Manny Pacquiao is known to many Filipinos as "the wind that calms stormy sea". Perhaps the reason behind this is his ability to create a day with the lowest crime rate in the history of the Philippines and his ability to make everyone equal, especially in offices where the boss and the employees gather together for the fight.
Pacquiao is also the first Asian to hold the championship title for three different weight categories and is now targeting to get his fourth by winning over Diaz's title.
He is the champion for the WBC and Ring Magazine Super Featherweight Champion title. He is the former world champion at IBF Super Bantamweight and WBC Flyweight divisions and now targets the WBC Lightweight champion's title.
Manny Pacquiao have already secured the name "The Mexicutioner" because of his fights between Mexico's best and toughest boxers. Hes has beaten Marco Antonio Barrera, Juan Manuel Marquez and Erik Morales - three of Mexico's toughest boxers with Manny giving the latter a KO twice.
Tomorrow however is a very different fight. Manny had to gain 5 kilos to achieve the wight to fight Diaz, and more wight means lesser speed. And Diaz is already used to being in the weight division while Manny is pretty much a new comer in it. It will be a very exciting fight for sure. No one knows who will win.
Many are saying Manny is still on the stronger side and Diaz stands no chance at all. But I actually think the opposite. I believe this will be one of Manny Pacquiao's hardest fight. Let's wait and see.
