The Philippine delegate to the 2008 Beijing Olympics flew to Beijing this morning. The delegation consists of 11 Filipino athletes and their coaches and other sports official left the country and is determined to make the country proud in the much awaited 2008 Beijing Olympics that will start on Friday, August 8. The qualified Filipino athletes that will represent the country in the Olympics are 15, but the remaining 4 will be flying to Beijing on August 11.The athletes that left Manila today are swimmers Miguel Molina, James Walsh, Joan Christel Simms, Ryan Arabejo and Daniel Coakley, divers Sheila Mae Perez and Ryan Rexel Fabriga, weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz, boxer Harry Taņamor and long jumpers Marestella Torres and Henry Dagmil.
