Name of your website?

Pinoy Expatriates Community Forum

Your name?

edu fajardo

Your Location (city, etc)

Las Piņas

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Pinoy Expats Community Forum is a forum for Pinoy Expats that provide online community resource and directory services

What inspired you to launch your own website?

To connect all Pinoy Expats and OFWs abroad and provide them a forum to discuss all and any issues that may affect tem

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first website

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I was aiming for a directory service and thought about the Pinoy Expats, including myself, who really need to access things quickly and easily.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

It not only provides a forum discussion board but also a directory of relevant services and resources that are deemed important to Pinoy Expats such as informations about Philippine Embassies, etc.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Keep it for as long Pinoy Expats enjoy it

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I believe it is doing well with more than a hundred members within just a weeks after launching the website

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I'll change it depending on the needs of the members.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None so far.

What has been your biggest challenge?

None so far, maybe inviting people and making them signup and eventually be active in the forum

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth and the openness of the forum

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It takes much more time than expected.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Around 2 weeks and I plan to keep it online for as long as the Pinoy Expats are enjoying and wanting the services it provides.

Why should Pinoy Expats sign up with the forum?

I believe that Pinoy Expats around the world should sign up and share their experiences, knowledge, issues and problems with the others. They can also ask help from the different Pinoy Expat members of the forum. When they sign up and be active, they get various informations and provide basically the same to others.

What is your website address?
