Sending gifts to the Philippines has never been this easy. Top quality gift delivery at all times nationwide (Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao). Great for all occasions , gender and ages. We offer fresh flowers, balloons, party food packages, cakes, pastries, snacks, wide variety of liquors and other unique gifts at affordable prices.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Having OFW relatives as well, we wanted to target the OFWs who wants to send gifts to their loved ones in the Philippines
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is our first website and it was launched this March
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We decided based on what the website was about which was really about sending gifts to Filipinos by their loved ones from Abroad
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We have been the pioneers of this business being suppliers of the top websites doing these services. All our products are handled with care and are unique and are often copied by other websites
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
We want to be able to reach our OFWs not only in the US but to other countries as well and we would like to be able to send items to those places from the Philippines
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
We are still in our beginning phase so we can't answer that yet but we are hopeful that things would turn out better
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would get more ads and market in the US
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
WE hope so , we have a very reliable team of people and we also do hire temporary workers in the event that the demands rise especially during peak season such as Christmas
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
The Web Development area incurs a lot of additional hidden costs that need to be taken into consideration. We also had to invest on hardware such as computers , modems and the like
What has been your biggest challenge?
We had a poor programmer at first and it was a struggle to keep the website up. I guess just being able to launch the website was one of the bigger challenges we had to face
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth has still been the most successful method thus far but since it is still in the beginning phase we hope to be able to be more marketable in the future
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Well, it has not been any different since we were in this type of business 6 years back
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
