I have had some tiring week. I feel very exhausted due to the piling of works, and the renovation of my house just consumes most of my time. I like to be hands on specially on my own house because I want it to have my 'personal touch'.
Then my friend came Sunday morning and invited me for a badminton match. At first I refused since I need to do a lot of work. But then I checked my internet connection and there is none. So I agreed for the match.
Our favorite place to play badminton is the Racquettaz Badminton Center situated in the heart of Dasmariņas, Cavite. It's just a few minutes drive from our house, you can even walk to it in less than 20 minutes.
Racquettaz Badminton Center is located in the Aguinaldo Highway, San Agustin part, between the Poblacion (town proper) and Pala-Pala where SM and Robinson's Mall can be found.
Racquettaz have a tournament and training type courts. They offer rubberized and taraflexed flooring, although the price is a little expensive for the latter. All in all they have 10 courts, 7 of which are functional for training.
We own Yonex and Prince rackets but unfortunately, my other Yonex racket was damaged in the car. So when we reached the court, I rented a new one from the counter.
It was fun having a free match once again. My friend Dan is a champion badminton player, but since he's become a little slower due to his current size, which is very bigggg, I won the match.
We've already applied for membership in the badminton court. It was pricey, but we hope it will be all worth it. Membership is Php3,000 for the whole year, and great discounts for every use of their facilities. The taraflex court is Php200 per hour but if you are a member of it, you only need to pay for Php240. But Sundays are special for members. We are free of charge to use the courts for the whole day and if we wanted to bring a guess of a friend to play with us, they will only need to pay for Php50. What a great discount.
So if you are looking for a good spot playing badminton around Cavite particularly in Dasmariņas, then Racquettaz Badminton Court is the place for you. Just a little advise though. Weekdays are usually days with only few players playing, but Sunday morning and evening is jampacked. CEOs and executives of companies in Cavite play in Racquetas and they often go for early reservations.
