
Though it's hard to imagine losing it, the whole family decided that it's time we sell our old house in Dasmariņas, Cavite. It's hard to see it in other people's hands but that's life, we have to move on without it.
There's no particular reason why we have to sell it, it's just that it has not been inhabited for many years. Both my parents are living in the other house in Tagaytay, my sisters and my brother have their own houses and I have my own house. I got to visit the house in Southplains once in awhile since I also live in Dasmariņas but it really needs someone who can take care of it full time.
I love that house since I grew up there. We lived in Tagaytay but all of us siblings were educated during grade school and high school in Dasmariņas so our parents bought that. But my sisters went abroad for college while me and my brother entered universities in Manila and Cebu, leaving the house with no one to look at since my parents' work bases are abroad as well during that time. So I wish it will be bought by someone who will take care of it.
Its total lot area is 975 sq. mtr. with a floor area of 720 sq. mtr. It has a total of 6 bedrooms and 2 office type rooms. All rooms have its own bathroom and 2 other big bathrooms for the rest of the house. We do not hire maids in the family so we do not have maid's room although we have 2 small quarters near the kitchen. It also has a spacious kitchen and dining room since we all love to cook and eat.
It also has a large receiving area for visitors, lanai, a small swimming pool, flower garden, balconies and a garage wide enough for 4 cars. Probably the best thing you can have in Southplains is the environment and its proximity to major amenities. It is located beside the highway but is far enough for you not to hear buzzing cars and trucks. The vegetation is great, there are lots of pine and cypress trees along the village road. It has a large clubhouse with modern facilities too. There are tennis, badminton, basketball courts and swimming pools. It also has a function area for events.
Southplains is just a few minutes away from Cavite's biggest shopping malls, recreation areas, farms and resorts. To the north is SM Bacoor and Robinson's Imus, while bound to the south will lead you to SM and Robinson's mall in Dasmariņas. About 5 minutes away is the towns municipal hall, University Medical Center (UMC) - Cavite's biggest hospital, universities like TUP, DLSU, AMA and a lot of other educational institutions. There are also 3 business parks located within Dasmariņas so room for investments and business opportunities are plenty.

What a cool coincidence. I saw it awhile ago when we toured Cavite looking for house and lots for sale. This property is owned by a certain Pio M. Bernal.The picture in this article isn't exactly the same but looks almost similar except the color in real is more of fleshy brown, cream with green accents.
Nice place, the village is full of pine trees and just outside the gate of the village is a huge Max restaurant and a Honda dealership. One thing that halts me and my wife in buying this is going there, transpo. Weird traffic system they have in the main hi-way, I forgot what's the main road is called. It's small for a provincial highway thus the traffic is heavy.
My wife talked to the caretaker and she said the sale will include all furniture remaining inside the house. We walked in and found only a sala set, few chairs, cabinets and tables.
