I have told you in countless ways before how good Palawan is. The visitors to this paradise island are living witnesses of how amazing this island's beauty is. One of the main attraction you can find here is famous to all as PUERTO PRINCESA SUBTERRANEAN RIVER NATIONAL PARK or better known as The Underground River in the district of Sabang in the city of Puerto Prinsesa.
To reach the Underground River, you must either take one of the two ways to get there, a boat ride or trekked the monkey trail. We chose the first one before. And it was exciting. The view while aboard the boat is just amazing. The panoramic skyline of stone caves lining the clear blue sky of Palawan is simply remarkable.
You can even see the Balinsasayaw birds flying with us heading to our destination. Everybody knows that those Balinsasayaw birds are very famous for their nest. They are the one responsible for making the main ingredient luxurious restaurant's bird soups.
Inside the Underground River, we got to see the spectacular limestone walls of the cave. Enormous stalactites and stalagmites are also there giving the cave a more adventurous approach for visitors. When lighted, the sediments on the ceiling of the cave river suggest a row of untouched diamonds sparkling over our heads. It was truly amazing!
