6th United Nations World Tourism Organization Forum

The United Nations Day is fast approaching. And for the first time in history, the United Nations World Tourism Organization Forum will be held outside a country's capital. Instead of hosting it in Manila, the Philippine Department of Tourism, the Philippine Congress, and the (WTO) United Nations World Tourism Organization decided to host it in the vicinity of the Queen City of the South - Cebu City.

The forum will be held on October 21 to 25 at the Shangri-La’s Mactan Island Resort and Spa. This will give our Cebuano brothers to once again showcase the beauty of their province to the over 100 countries that will send their delegation to the forum, as stated by Philippine Tourism Secretary Joseph “Ace” Durano.
