The University of the Philippines, the largest and the most famous university in the country holds an annual celebration of its founding.

This year they celebrated their 100th year. The annual UP Fair, as I observed, is celebrated every second Monday of every February and will last for a week. This celebration is much awaited by many people because of its unique features and fun activities.

There are rock climbing booths, carnival rides, food stalls, and of course, live rock bands. It is the time of the year where famous bands and groups showcased their talents. May it be a professional band or just playing for a hobby, you are in.

But what I love the most about UP Fair is the bonding moment with my friends. Its the only time of the year where we get the chance to meet up and distress ourselves. Plus the eating spree is absolutely fantastic! The uber famous Maong's Barbecue is being sold here annually. Everybody knows that Maong's luxury dining is not for all. But when its time for the fair, they lower their price to as much as 80%! Wow, thats one big discount eh? But the taste, I should say, is always priceless. None I have taste like their barbecues. Totally heaven.

The fair, usually a weeklong celebration, start at 6pm and ends 4am. Its a whole night to enjoy and go partying! I am all inviting you to join this year's fair. I'm sure it will be a blast. And I wish to share it with you.

Is Maong really expensive? I didn't realize that even though I go by there a lot. hehe. Too bad I can't go. I don't feel well going home very late at night, let alone early in the morning. :D
