Chocolate Hills of Bohol

Perhaps one of the more famous attraction in the Philippines for tourists is the ever popular Chocolate Hills found in the island province of Bohol. The hills are all natural, shaped by nature thousands of years ago. There have been various theories as to how the hills were formed but to date, none have been proven.

Chocolate Hills is consists of 1,268 perfectly cone-shaped hills. The hills are also mysteriously about the same size each. The hills are covered with green grass for most of the year but turns brown during the dry season of March to mid June, hench the name.
