Recently, Sen. Richard Gordon's bill naming April 27 as Lapu-Lapu Day was ratified. The bill aimed at giving the first successful Filipino who fought with the Spaniards its own day of celebration. And because the National Independence Day of the Philippines is merely 12 days away, Sen. Gordon submit a new controversial proposal.
