Literally, here comes the rain. The summer is supposed to be on its way, but the rain has not yet stopped. Its been raining since last night. The weather forecast also said people must expect more of these rain. Its a bit annoying because tonight is the scheduled battle of the bands in the open field area of SM City Cebu. And because of the rain, it was postponed.
Its really an unusual thing, its extremely cold these past few days as compared to the past years where February already show signs of the incoming summer season. I read in the newspaper this morning that there are changes that are happening in the atmosphere. Maybe its because of the effect o global warming. We're starting to feel the effect of changing seasons now. The news said the cold wind from the Antarctic regions are blowing northwards because it is experiencing an increase in warm pressure. The news scared me. It also indicates the future of the snow caps and glaciers there. It will melt and eventually flood the world.
I'm not trying to scare you away, I'm just retelling the facts that might happen in the future if we humans do not act on it immediately. We must act accordingly because we are the main reason why this is all happening. In the past 60 years, studies showed that we humans are the main contributors to the depleting ozone layer.
Maybe you have not yet experience any that will alarm you, but let us not wait for symptoms of this dying planet. Let us act now, for ourselves, and for the future generations.
