Please give us a short summary of your website?
The website is about a Manila-based events management team that has the passion for managing weddings and other events. The team offers services for Metro Manila, out-of-town, and destination weddings. It offers long distance wedding planning, consultancy, and actual event coordination and management especially to soon-to-wed couples living abroad but wish to celebrate their union in the Philippines. It offers coordination with a touch of fragrance, making fragrance its trademark.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
The fastest way to let people know about what you have to offer is through the web. Thus, this enticed me to put up the team's website.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
The team's first website was launched in 2005. It's a free site that also introduces our services to prospective clients.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The name of the site is actually the name of our events management team - Fragrant Moments. Fragrant because we diffuse fragrance during the actual event. And of course, Moments because weddings and other special occasions are as such - "moments".
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
So far, we are the only events management team that uses fragrance during the actual events.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To be one of the favored teams in the wedding industry.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I know the site needs a lot more improvement. And to do that, we have to come up with a better design, something which would require more funds. And the funds have yet to be available.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would like the site to be an interactive one.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, of course.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Ordering our advertising materials from the U.S. eventhough I was uncertain as to how I can have them shipped to the Philippines.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Dealing with a difficult client is always a challenge for the team.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Site blasting, I guess...
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I want a more impressive site.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Almost two years now. I intend to maintin for as long as the team is still around.
