Yesterday, a new exchange classmate from Rotterdam came. He is cool in general. But there is something in him that I despise, really. Its his character of know-it-all can-do-nothing. He's not the type of a person who is shy at first. He's actually very at home even on the first meeting. I guess thats part of their culture, too much exposure on social things.
I don't know much about him, but he seems to be a smart guy. Although he is an empty an can. He boast of things about the places he has been. He is even proud to tell us he's been to Puerto Galera. Palawan, where in fact Puerto Galera is not in Palawan, it's in Mindoro Island. Lol, he's funny in a way or two.
Puerto Galera is a haven for European tourists. Decades ago, Dutch immigrants built communities there because of the beauty of the island. Its really captivating I should say. It is the second most famous island resort in the Philippines next to Boracay. It also has white sands and clear waters that is very much conducive for any water sports that you prefer. Its just a few hours travel by sea from Manila. And only a 25 minute flight from Manila their small but pretty Calapan airport.
I'm giving you the directions now, just in case you meet my new classmate who still thinks Puerto Galera is in Palawan. Haha.
Summer is already here! See yah on Philippine beaches!
